Hi, I'm Artic and I’m 60% wolf hybrid with a big voice and a soft heart. I came here from Washington State after my owner had to make a very hard decision because of Illinois laws. Even though we couldn’t stay together, she still visits me...and I never forget that kind of love.

I’m playful, observant, and I like to use my voice to bark hello to visitors and howl at the train when it passes by. I Iove ear scratches, car rides with Marty, and playing tag with my friends. I may have a little wild in me, but I was raised with love and that makes all the difference.

I’m a 90% wolf hybrid, born right here at Caillou’s Calling! My parents were Kiva and Cain, and this place has always been home. I’m calm, observant, and usually very quiet. But when the train goes by, I join in with a howl along with Artic and the other dogs. I love rolling in fresh straw and watching the world around me. Once, I went on a big adventure and wandered all the way to Janesville, Wisconsin. Thanks to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, I was kept safe and brought back home. Now I’m safe, loved, and exactly where I belong.

I'm LEO! I’m a Siberian Husky with a bold, loving personality and a lot to say. I don’t bark much, but I love to “talk” with howls, whines, and all sorts of funny noises that sometimes sound almost like words. I came to Caillou’s Calling from Tampa, Florida, where a friend rescued me from a high-kill shelter. I love car rides, leaning over Marty’s shoulder to help him drive, playing fetch, and getting scratches behind my ears. With my thick double coat, I stay cozy in freezing weather and I “shed it all out” in the summer to stay cool. Life is more fun when you’re curious, playful, and full of love!

My name is Lilly and I'm a coon hound mix. I came here from Tennessee after being rescued from an abusive situation. Even with a difficult start, I’ve grown into a sweet, affectionate, and people-loving pup. I’m a special-needs dog with megaesophagus, which means I need my meals blended and enjoyed while standing upright. Marty takes excellent care of me, blending my food every day to make sure I get all the nutrition I need. My condition doesn’t slow me down one bit! I love car rides, frozen treats, ear scratches, and happily greeting every visitor who stops by. Life is full of love, and I’m happy to share mine with anyone I meet.
