Meet Gilligan, our gorgeous white peacock! He came to us from southern Illinois and joined us as a partner for Skipper. Gilligan's snowy white plumage isn't due to albinism, but a condition called leucism. It's a genetic trait that prevents pigment in his feathers, but still enables him to keep his dark eyes. Stay tuned for more adventures with Skipper and Gilligan!

Gilligan loves the good life at the rescue — especially when there are grapes to nibble, Skipper to follow, and his best friend Pauly the turkey by his side.

Gilligan uses his beautiful tail feathers and meow-like squawks to impress Skipper.

Cheese the Duck joined our rescue from a loving family who wanted him to have companionship after the loss of his longtime partner, Quackers. Here, Cheese has found a new flock and fast friends in our two Pekin ducks, Fiona and Luke. Once they arrived at the rescue, they quickly found peace, and a new best friend in Cheese the duck! Today, this inseparable trio spends their days splashing in their pool, hunting for treats, and enjoying the happy, carefree life they truly deserve.

We're thrilled to welcome Amelia, Stevie, Lisa, Meg, and Julie - five beautiful ducks from three different breeds. They joined us from a caring family who could no longer keep them safe from nearby hawks. With French Rouen, English Khaki Campbell, and Welsh Harlequin roots, this diverse group reminds us that no matter where they come from, ducks thrive with love, safety, and plenty of quacks!
